Healthy homemade granola recipe, great way to start your day, full of healthy nutritious ingredients
This recipe has so many great ingredients in it and makes a great way to start your day. There are many different variations that you can make to the actual recipe and how you eat it;

Don't be afraid to experiment with different dried fruits & seeds in your granola!
Preheat the oven to 350 F / 180 C.
Place all the dry ingredients, except raisins and cranberries, into a large mixing bowl (porridge oats, coconut, almonds, hazelnuts, pumpkin seed, sesame seeds and brown sugar)
Stir well to combine everything.
Pour the vegetable oil, golden syrup and maple syrup into the mixture, and again, mix well to combine all the ingredients.
Use a large oven tray or large flat pan with shallow sides, and pour all of the mixture into the pan / tray.
Spread the mixture evenly over the tray so that the whole tray is covered evenly.
Place the tray into the hot oven and cook for approx 1.5 - 2 hours, but remember to give the mixture stir every 20 - 30 minutes so that it cooks to a lovely golden color all over.
When cooked, remove from the oven and allow to cool. Add the raisins and cranberries and stir again to combine everything.
Store in air-tight containers / Kilner jars for up to a month - though it will hardly last that long as both little people and adults love this granola!
